This has actually become a favorite not only among family, but a select few friends. What you are looking at is Red Hot Gingerbread. I have done this in bread and cookie form and gotten positive feedback. People really enjoy it with cool whip on top.

This is a favorite for our extended family, or otherwise known as the guys my husband works with. I ended up having some extra hot chocolate liquid from a recipe I tested. I added the hot chocolate liquid to a yellow cake mix, and came up with this. I also did this in a cookie form with a sugar cookie base.
